Clone Golf Clubs …Save Money On Custom Fit Clubs
Getting a clone club is a great way to have top equipment at low low prices. We have clubs for every part of your game. These are clone clubs that have copied the best attributes of name-brand clubs but at prices that save BIG money. I started using a clone driver about 2 years ago because I wanted to try out a big headed driver. Two years later, after trying out every major brand of driver available, I still go back to my knock-off. By my best estimates, I get no significant increase in distance with the OEM branded driver so I can’t bring myself to spending $400 for vanity sake.

Since then I have purchased a Ping 5 wood clone. It sits in my bag next to the OEM Ping 3 wood. I hit the knock-off about 15 yards shorter on average which is about what I would expect for a difference between a 3 and 5 wood. However, I spent $120 less on the clone club.
These clubs are not “fakes”. Just like you may buy generic drugs that have the same ingredients as the name brands, these clubs are also just like the name brands. However, they only compare to the name brands, they are not labeled or branded as the OEM clubs. For example, the Z-Force Z5 is very comparable in looks and playability to the Ping G5.
The fact is that very few of us have the resources to get custom fit golf clubs from the major manufacturers. However, it is important to get golf clubs that fit you properly. Taking an example to an extreme, you would not expect a 6′ 8″ man to play with off the shelf golf clubs. They would be too short and the golfer would need to adapt. It makes much more sense to adapt the golf clubs to the golfer than the other way around.
